M.A. Williams

M.A. Williams is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter, with awards and nominations received from film festivals in North America, Europe and Australia. His debut screenplay – The Other Woman – won the Dylan Thomas Award at the 2009 Swansea Bay Film Festival. He studied English Literature at Exeter University, and Film at the International Film School of Wales.

M.A. lives in a small village on the outskirts of Cardiff with his wife, daughter and nephew. As a child he wanted to play football for England but, being Welsh and rubbish at sports, that dream soon died and was flushed down the toilet like Tiger – his pet goldfish of three weeks in the summer of 1992 (RIP).

When not busy writing, parenting two near-teens or wasting dozens of hours every week working for a living, M.A. is a founder and co-host on the Double Down Podcast Network.
